Adult care RQF training courses in Swindon, Salisbury & Bournemouth

At First City Training we provide a range of childcare and adult care QCF training courses.

Qualification: Adult Health & Social Care Diploma Levels 2 & 3

Aimed at: All staff working within the adult care sector

The diplomas involve a number of credits to be completed to achieve the qualification.

 

Level 2 Diploma Adult Health and Social Care

This diploma is aimed at front line staff who support individuals towards maintaining their independence, or responding to daily living needs in the person's own home, a residential/nursing home, or a day care setting.

 

Level 3 Diploma Adult Health and Social Care

This diploma is aimed at staff in a supervisory care role in social care settings. If you are a care supervisor, team leader, senior support worker or similar then this diploma is suited to your career progression.

 

Within the adult diplomas there are nine mandatory units to achieve. There are then three pathways that can be chosen dependent on your working environment. Optional units will be chosen to ensure the required number of credits are achieved to complete the qualification. The three pathways are Generic, Learning Disabilities and Dementia.

 

Each unit has a number of guided learning hours that will be covered through workshops, one to ones with assessors/tutors, performance observations and learners own research.

Qualification: Leadership for Health and Social Care, and Children and Young People's Services Level 5

Aimed at: All deputies and higher managers working within the adult care sector

This diploma is aimed at completing a number of credits to achieve the qualification being gained.

Within the diploma there are five mandatory units to achieve, and then there are three pathways that we can provide for adult care dependent on your working environment. The three pathways are Adult Residential Management, Adult Management and Adult Advanced Practice.

Learners must complete a total of eighty credits to achieve the full qualification.

We will also be providing the opportunity to achieve the unit route to enhance your continued professional development.

Each unit has a number of guided learning hours that will be covered through workshops, one to ones with assessors/tutors, performance observations and learners own research.
